The Great Escape has just announced its lineup for the 2021 digital event. The festival usually takes place in May across venues in Brighton, but will this year be held online.
Because of the first lockdowns taking place in the spring, the festival did not have much time to organise an online event in 2020. Fans will be able to register for free online, and tune in to one of seven simultaneous channels that are full of performances from exciting new artists. The digital festival will take place over two days, on the 13th and 14th of May.
Their announcement debuts 68 artists who will be performing as part of their live event. The Great Escape accepts artist applications internationally, meaning that the lineup is a carefully curated list of the best and brightest new musicians. The event will feature country-specific specials, for international viewers who want to support performers from their hometowns.
As per the real festival, the event is hosting their conferencing and networking sessions online too, so delegates won’t miss out on the great opportunities the event provides.
