It has been announced that David Tennant will be returning to the West End, performing in Good at the Harold Pinter Theatre this Autumn. The run was set to take place in October 2020 but had to be postponed because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The shows will now be taking place from October 6th to December 24th.

The show will be taking place for eleven weeks, with Tennant starring alongside Elliot Levey and Sharon Small. C.P. Taylor’s Good explores how an unassuming good person can be enticed into horrific behaviours over time. David Tennant plays John Halder, a character who wants to know what it is to be a good man. Set in 1930s Germany, Halder recognises that seemingly ‘good’ men have changed and that somewhat logical decisions aren’t always inherently good.

David Tennant has featured in a wide range of TV shows, known primarily for his roles in Doctor Who, Broadchurch, Jessica Jones and Bad Omens. His on-screen performances have resulted in many award nominations and wins, including two BAFTA Awards, two Emmy Awards, and a nomination for a Laurence Olivier Award. Tennant’s theatrical history has gained critical acclaim, notably for his portrayal of Hamlet in 2008. He was described as “The greatest Hamlet of his generation” by The Guardian in 2009.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased from the venue website here.
