Digital Streaming Services Release Amy Winehouse Live Tracks

Has anyone ever asked you: ‘If you could see anyone live in concert, dead or alive, who would you want to see?’ That question has and always will be a no brainer for me: Amy Winehouse. Her raw, woozy vocals remind me of why Jazz music can be so hauntingly beautiful.

On February 12th, digital streaming services graced us with the first handful of songs from Amy’s I Told You I was Trouble: Live in London concert. There’s nothing like unreleased, live music by an artist posthumous that will put you in your feels. The “rockumentary” concert was originally filmed in 2007 at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire venue, and released to the general public later that year.

The EP opens with an ‘Intro’ followed by hit tracks like ‘Cherry’ and ‘Back to Black,’ which are songs from her hit albums ‘Frank’ and ‘Back to Black.’ The entire concert soundtrack will be released slowly over time, with streaming services adding new songs weekly.

It was also announced recently that designer Fred Perry is teaming up with Amy’s Foundation to release a line of clothing “rooted in Amy’s original design for us [and will] celebrate the icon’s everlasting legacy. Designs are inspired by a distinctive styling of 50’s Americana, and the signature pin-up silhouettes of Amy’s old wardrobe.”

The fashion organisation has been a long time supporter of Amy’s Foundation, which helps the younger generation make smarter decisions when it comes to drugs and alcohol.
