The Clause are back after a long and highly anticipated wait, with their new single ‘Time of our Lives‘.
Since the release of their most recent track ‘In My Element‘, the Birmingham based four-piece have been working hard to produce more powerful tracks. The band consists of Pearce Macca (vocals), Niall Fennell (drummer), Jonny Fyffe (bassist), and Liam Deakin (guitarist). Since the release, the track reached Number 1 on iTunes’ Rock Chart, with the band stating “[We are] grateful to be coming out of this chaos with [us] all on [their] side, the future is bright“.
‘Time of our Lives’ will definitely become the soundtrack of our current times, a post-pandemic tune that makes you excited to go back to live shows. With beating drums and catchy lyrics, The Clause has it all. This upbeat and positive track will become your anthem, and fill you with excitement about what’s to come when life gets back to normal. Fennell’s drumming paired with Deakin’s gritty guitar really brings the song together, with an overall fast-paced vibe.
“It’s quite easy to think negatively with everything going on and I think everyone including myself has fallen victim to that at times over the past year, this song is an escape from all that negativity.” – Pearce Macca, vocals
When Macca sings “What’s yours is mine / This is the time of our lives” in the chorus, it feels like these are lyrics that you should be yelling out with your friends, at the top of your lungs. The Clause has truly developed a speciality for writing big and powerful songs, and we are so excited to see what they show us next.
