Atmospheric and ethereal, electro-pop’s newcomer Vale has shared his impressive new offering ‘All Rise.’
Metaphorically building, or rather rising, the single concocts a heady blend of airy synth and explosive percussion, as it edges into cinematic territory.
Audibly resembling Bastille’s well-known addictive melodies and indie-style vocals, Vale cleverly touches on the familiar whilst establishing his own realm of climactic, medicative goodness. Delivering a soulful, almost choral vocal performance, ‘All Rise’ was noticeably inspired by religious, or otherworldly themes upon creation The track emits a compulsive quality that is guaranteed to make you stop and soak up its powerful integrity.
Clearly reflective in its narrative, the track sums up the all too relatable feelings of fear and loneliness, at a time when the world has turned upside down. Vale provides a lyrical shoulder to lean on for his listeners. Its emotive tinge is heightened by the echoey vocal effect that glides across its slightly haunting instrumentals, curiously compelling you to reach for the repeat button.
Making his debut last year, Vale has already begun to showcase many facets to his sound, with ‘All Rise’ straying from the more uplifting and buoyant tones heard in his 2020 release ‘Tore It Down.’ The Irish multi-talent travelled between Ireland, Nashville and Reykjavik whilst working on his creations, in turn transforming his experiences and discoveries of different cultures and sounds into his own well-honed, eclectic musical style.
Forward-thinking in both his lyricism and production, it’s not every day you find an artist who can aptly create something both delicate and heartrending, yet dynamic and edgy. Vale’s fearlessness will no doubt put him on the map to become a big voice in the electronic scene soon enough.
