JC Stewart Releases New Single ‘Break My Heart’

‘Professional Sad Boy’ JC Stewart is back with another tune that will waltz into your heart, titled ‘Break My Heart.’

The song, co-written by the one and only Niall Horan, talks about someone who only can be explained as ‘a hurricane.’ It is fast, turns your whole life upside down, and will forever ruin you. Nevertheless, you are addicted to that person still. “You’ve ruined the city for me, it only took one night” expresses that feeling, but the chorus talks about how it still “burns without you”.

Talking about ‘Break My Heart, Stewart said “I know I always say this but this really could be my proudest work to date and the videos that are coming with it are just stupidly good. Nothing to do with me either. Charlie and Jackson and the teams did an absolute number on these ones. I have no idea what this year is going to look like but thank you as always for being here, for listening and sharing, for caring. It means the world to me. For real.” It is also Stewart’s first physical release, marking the first time that we can buy a vinyl record from the Irish singer-songwriter.

‘Break My Heart’ is that kind of song where you immediately get that high energy rush, that bangs into your heart as soon as the chorus hits. I know New Year’s Eve was quite a while ago, but if you are looking for a firecracker to light, this song definitely would do the trick. It’s an explosive bang of sadness, met with an upbeat pop sound, and isn’t that exactly what we need right now? For that, I want to say thank you, JC Stewart, for another banger.
